1. Quad / Off-road biking track/terrain available.
2. Swimming (dam or swimming pool at the chalets) (Bring a lilo if you have one).
2. Foofy Sliding.
3. Row Boat / Paddle Boat rides on the dam.
5. Fishing (Carp/Bass) – Catch and Release Only.
6. Picnic at the dam – (great sundowners).
7. Jungle Gym and swings for small children.
8. Touch tame farm animals – All animals may be touched – beware of the horses / ponies and steer away from their behinds as they will kick when frightened.
9. Tuck shop/Farm stall available.
10. Feeding of fresh vegetables to the farm animals: goats, donkeys, horses, ponies, pigs and rabbits (when available).
11. Children may collect freshly laid eggs for breakfast (the children LOVE doing this).
12. Stick Bread – let the children braai their own bread over an open fire – dough and a lesson will be given upon request.
13. Tractor Rides will be done upon request.
14. Bag Races / Egg throwing etc. for groups with 4 children or more can be booked at the main house for R5.00 per child
15. Birdwatching – Binoculars can be rented at the house at a cost of R10.00 per hour.
16. Stargazing – Telescope can be rented at R30.00 per night (this has to be brought indoors at night as the animals will destroy it during the night).
17. Horse Riding – unfortunately this activity has been suspended until further notice. Most of the animals are being rehabilitated by Pronkie’s owners as they come from the SPCA and have a history of abuse. So until they are not ready, we don’t want to put further strain on them.
18. Biking – Quad or Off Road – If you have your own, bring it along – plenty of space to ride (ask for details on where you may ride).
19. Unsupervised riding or hiring of quads belonging to Pronkie’s Holiday Farm, is not permitted.

You need to know that there is NO TV. The children get to connect with farm life and are usually too tired at night to watch TV.
